Thousand Islands PMI Distributes Six Portable Sinks to Tourist Sites

It will educate residents and tourists to wash their hands before and after activities

The Thousand Islands Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) starts distributing six portable sinks from the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) to the Thousand Islands COVID-19 task force team.

Thousand Islands PMI Chairperson Natsir Sabara said those six portable sinks were distributed to support the implementation of health protocols at tourist sites in curbing the spread of COVID-19.

PD PAL Jaya Continues to Add More Portable Sinks

"We recommend that they (portable sink) can be attached at tourist sites for tourists and locals," he expressed.

He furthered the aid itself was sent to Cikaya Beach (Karya Island), Sakura Beach (Untung Jawa Island), Pasir Perawan Beach (Pari Island), Jembatan Cinta Beach (Tidung Island) and several other tourist sites on Harapan and Kelapa islands.

"It will educate residents and tourists to wash their hands before and after activities," he stated.
